Alexander wants to achieve two things in life, whilst I am not going to reveal that in the first sentence of a review (you will have to see the show to find out more) it is a premise that the whole show is based around.

All It Takes is a show that is predominantly based around therapy. One of the first and key lines that you hear at the beginning of the show is enjoying the small things in life is an excuse for nothing going on in your life. The jokes around this are fun and really set the pace for the show.

The show starts with a very unique introduction video that is witty, slightly bizarre and reels the audience in.  It creates a lot audience participation in a really fun and innovative way without the pressure of getting involved..

The show delves into personal experiences and how he has tried to use the advice to improve his life and relationships.

His idea of Therapy Pubs goes down a storm with the audience as a great idea. A whole segment of his show is about what the therapy pub will actually have such as specialised toilets, games and much more. The audience are lapping it up and really buying into it as an idea even though it is just a premise of a joke.

The most surprising parts of the show for me is the musical and video sections. I did not expect there to be so much singing and it works so well with this show, breaks down the topic in a way that other shows based on therapy at the fringe this year are missing. It is erratic at times but that is what makes this show unforgettable.

Charismatic and confident on stage, Alexander has a natural presence that immediately draws the audience into his world. His delivery is warm, engaging and effortless, making the audience feel welcomed and connected as he moves through his material. He is incredibly likeable, and his strong stage presence allows the jokes to land naturally, with the audience responding enthusiastically throughout.

The show strikes a brilliant balance between the bizarre and the hilarious, creating a unique and unpredictable experience that keeps the audience entertained throughout.
