It is our birthday month so to celebrate I thought it would be fun to write a couple of articles to take you behind the scenes of the The Phoenix Remix. In this article I am going to talk about the top five most read articles in the whole of the ten years.

1) Pizzarias  Pizza Chips

One article I love writing is Taste Of States as I am fascinated by the food that is available in America and it is so unique. Saying that, I am surprised that my most viewed article of all time is Pizzarias  Pizza Chips.

It has had thousands of views and when I re-read the article that I wrote in 2022 it is not hard to see why. They were discontinued in the late nineties and were made of fresh pizza dough. Give it a read, they are really fascinating.

2) North and South

I love music, I initially wanted to be a music journalist so it has always been in my soul to write about it as I am so fascinated by it. The nineties and the noughties fascinate me, especially as it was a time when loads of boy bands and girl bands that were manufactured. The second most read article of all time is about the band North and South.

They were formed by East 17’s former manager and had their own television show called No Sweat in 1997. Give the article a read as it is really interesting to read about a band you may of forgotten about.

3) Improv Generators

It is so exciting to find an improv article in this list as it is something that I write about a lot on here. This idea of writing about improv generators came out of a random thought I had when I was thinking about how difficult it can be to find suggestions for scenes.

The articles has had thousands of views as people are obviously in the same boat. I plan to write an updated version but take a look at the one I wrote from a few years ago.

4) Upside Down

Another boyband has made the top 5 in the most read articles and this was a boyband that was manufactured and created for a BBC Documentary.

I feel there must be a fascination with the cult world of the boybands as it was a trend last year as there was a lot of television shows based on them. I think it is always interesting to find out about the more unknown boybands as they are always hard to write about as there is never a lot of information about them and also it is really fascinating to find out about them.

5) Knife Fork Spoons – Cut It

I love writing a set of themed articles and they actually only run a lot of the time for a limited run and the fact that one of these made the top 5 is pretty amazing.

Knife Forks Spoons Cut It, was one of my favourite games to play as a kid so it feels pretty special it has made the top 5. Also, being a nineties thing it has become very fashionable to talk about so it may of had a lot of read due to that as well.
