Forgotten Songs! – This Week – Good Intentions

There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them very rarely that they can create a sense of nostalgic for you, the listener. So roll up and welcome to Forgotten Songs where we celebrate these forgotten wonders.

Dappy – Good Intentions

Today we are going to look at a single that was released by a former member of the band N-Dubz (although saying that, they recently have reformed to go on tour again. ) Today we are looking at a single by musician and grime rapper Dappy.

Good Intentions was released on the 16th September 2012, it was written by Costadinos Contostavios (Dappy), Wayne Hector, Fraser T Smith, Clinten Outten, Alfred Millar and Tim Powell. The track was the third single off of Dappy’s debut solo album called Bad Intentions. The initial song premiered at T4 on the beach on the 1st July 2012.

The song ended up selling over 200,000 units in the United Kingdom and became certified silver. In the charts it went to number 12 in the UK and number 24 in Ireland. I always thought this song was ok, it had a pretty catchy chorus that made it hard not to enjoy.
