On the 14th January, The Phoenix Remix is hosting it’s first ever live show and over the next few weeks we sit down with some of the acts that are performing at the show to find out more about them and what they have in store for the audience. Today we talk to a troupe that we are set to be the official house team for The Phoenix Remix – The Phoenix Players.

Hello tell us about your troupe and three unknown facts!

Hello we are The Phoenix Players – three unknown facts, this is our first show, we are the new house team of the Phoenix Remix and we aim to changing our show format every show.

You are performing at the first ever Phoenix Remix Live how are you feeling about it?

We are really excited! It is for a great cause and we are so excited to be performing.

What do you have in store for the audience as part of your set?

All will be revealed on the night but we are doing a part improvised part scripted set and it is not your average improv set…

Why did you decide to do the show?

We are part of the Phoenix Remix so we wanted to be part of the show no matter what!

What are some of your favourite parts of the Phoenix Remix website and why?

We love the interviews with the improv acts as we love finding out what groups are doing around the United Kingdom. We also love the music sections as well as it is great to find out about musicians we may not of heard about.

It is the month of January what are your new years resolutions for your improv this year?

Focus on the improv and the innovative ways to portray it.

The show is also raising money for charity Arts 4 Dementia – why should people donate?

It is a great cause and the charity do great things to help people with Dementia.
