Paper Houses – Flicker album

A lot of the songs on this debut album were released as singles but that does not mean that there is not some good album tracks. Paper Houses is one of the slower songs on the record and it is a good one to listen to, especially if you are new to Niall’s solo music. It may be mellow but it is really melodic and is the home to a lot of great lyrics and acoustic guitar.

Flicker – Flicker album

You always expect something a bit bigger and better from the song that is the album lead track and this song doesn’t fail to impress. It is quite a mellow and slow song but do not let that put you off it as the verses lead up to a really lovely song. The use of the instruments bring a really lovely tune to this song.

On My Own – Flicker album

This song is one of the more up tempo tracks on the record and has a good sense of guitar throughout it. It has a really fun and catchy chorus and it is one of those songs that will get stuck in your head and will make you want to sing along.
