Ed Fargher will be hosting a fun selection of classic improv games and scenes just for the fun of it. And YOU are star of the show! Yes Land wants to give you the chance to have all the fun on stage in a safe and supportive environment!
No experience required. We want to give people a platform to try their hand at improv for the 1st time or the 1,000th time.

HOOPLA: Nu Z Land – Special Delivery

Nu Z Land is London’s first all-black improv group made of improvisers, stand-ups sketch performers and character comedians. They have teamed up with Hoopla to put on a regular night at the Miller which celebrates BAME performers creating evenings full of improv, stand up, character comedy and sketches with uniquely funny perspectives.
Meet the Nu Z Land Team!
Tai Campbell is a writer, improviser and celebrity impressionist who has performed in 5* shows in groups such as Left Foot First, Newsical, The Impressionist and Slice of Rhyme as well as Nu Z Land. He is a winner of BBC’s Writers room and performed on Michael McIntire’s Big Show on BBC1.
Verona Rose is an actress, writer and comedian known for her character comedy and has appeared on the BBC and E4.
Athena Kugblenu is a 2017 nominee for the 99 Club Female Comedians’ Bursary. She writes for BBC Radio 4 (News Quiz and The Now Show). Her stand up has been heard on BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Radio Wales and the BBC World Service. She’s often asked to talk politics on BBC Five Live and in 2017 represented the UK at the Johannesburg international Comedy Festival.
Kemah Bob is a comic, producer and presenter from Houston, Tx, now based in London. Kemah’s comedy is pro-black, sex positive and will leave a funny taste in your mouth. You can find her show centering mental health, Unstable, online at Roundhouse Radio.

Lee Simpson and Ruth Bratt are very serious about play. They present for you A Very Serious Play. Beyond that, no-one knows. Except that it’s improvised. And they like improvising with each other. And seriously playing.
THE PETTING ZOO
Formed in 2014, The Petting Zoo (“Improv supergroup” Time Out) has performed at The Edinburgh Festival, UCB Chelsea in New York as part of the Del Close Marathon, the Brighton Fringe, and The Comedy Cafe, Berlin
One of London’s funniest long-form improv teams, with a cast consisting of performers from comedy groups including Massive Dad, Upstairs Downton, The Wilsons, The Cartel, Sweet Fanny Adams, The 838 and The Ladies of FA County.

THE SCIENCE OF LIVING THINGS
The Science of Living Things exploded onto the London scene in 2013, and have since been delighting audiences with their joyful brand of free-form improv. TSOLT specialise in quick-fire scenes and fantastic characters. With blisteringly fast and seamless edits, a TSOLT set is like watching a sketch show being made up before your very eyes. A single suggestion starts a chain reaction and then…Brains collide! Universes are created! There may be bees! Anything can happen. It’s science, but without the rules. GO SCIENCE!
DO NOT ADJUST YOUR STAGE
Do Not Adjust Your Stage are a long-form improvised comedy group based in London. Inspired by conversations with their audience, DNAYS improvise hilarious, intriguing and moving scenes, characters and stories. Everything is created in the moment.
