Herr’s Fire Roasted Sweetcorn Chips

Today we delve into the archive of John Egan and have a look at a review that he did about a year ago at a product that we definitely don’t get in the United Kingdom and I don’t think there are any plans any time soon to release a packet of crisp in this flavour any time soon! (Hey, this is only a prediction, i mean we only got hot sweetcorn stands not that long ago and these are still verrrryyyyy few and far between). Today we look at the crisp flavour of sweetcorn by the company Herrs.

For a limited time, the company Herrs released a crisp flavour Fire Roasted Sweet Corn Potato Chips. On the packet, it described the taste as crisp that have been cooked in vegetable oil that has then “been topped with the flavour of roasted sweetcorn, just like a backyard barbeque.”

The one thing that people online commented about is the smell, they smelt so like corn that people were actually shocked that a processed packet of chips could smell exactly like it. People also commented on the fact that they were sprinkled with just the right amount of seasoning and that they were not too punjent.

Howeer, the question on everybodies mind is – did they taste nice? Here is John on the mission
