Holly
Hello! My name is Holly and I am the Editor of The Phoenix Remix. I am a Video Editor in the Television Industry. I write this website as a hobby in my spare time. Comedy and Music run through my veins and I love writing about them both, I adore interviewing acts and always on the lookout for something new!
I do this website completely voluntary and as a hobby and it can be thirsty work! In one year alone I write anything between 500-1000 articles. Every year for festival season I can interview up to 200-300 acts and that is not even including the interviews I do every week!
If you want to buy me a cup of tea (and a biscuit!) you are more then welcome to by going to the About page
This week my life has been completely inundated with status. On Saturday I helped out with the Beginners Improv lesson which was nice as it meant that I met some lovely new people and also was able to just go over the basics again, which is important to […]

It was announced earlier this month that the cartoon superhero, Bananaman is getting his own musical. Yes, you heard that correctly, the parody-crime fighting superhero who originally appeared in the Dandy comics and then the Beano will be heading to the West End later this year. The comedic […]

This weeks lesson for me had its ups and downs, the ups being that it was very hilarious watching other improvisers perform some very funny situations but the downs being that this week whenever I got up on stage I would suddenly realise the situation I was in […]
With the new Film, Kung Fu Panda 3 just around the corner, Dreamworks has teamed up with the charity WWF in a new campaign called Project Panda. The concept of Project Panda is to get children between the ages of 7 to 11 years old interested in all […]
It’s Panic At The Disco new album day which only means one thing, the questions arise as to what style it will be in this time. The band and lets be honest, the only real member left, Brendan Urie, always try and reinvent a genre or try a […]
Yesterday saw the return of the Improv classes and it was so great to return after such a longish (well not that long, like a month) break. It was so nice to have Improv back in my life and like all new improv classes meeting and working with […]
