Hello! Tell us all about your show!
HABITS. DIE. HARD.
The end of the world is on its way.
A Witch a day, helps you work, rest and pray…
The funniest nonsense-comedy since ‘Spaceballs’. WARNING: Not set in Space. A treat of a piece, aimed squarely at those with a love of the ridiculous. Can a Priest, a Nun and a Father save us from the end of the world foretold by the chronovisor? Find out!
From the producers of recent Edinburgh smash-hits Bachelorette Bash and We’re All Mad Here, comes another night to remember. Father McGill, Sister Agatha and Father Rossi Samuel are not giving up on this world ‘til the sun comes up! But just who will it come up for? Leave your common sense at the door and grab a weapon (holy water usually works).
What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?
We are big fans of supporting all of our fellow performers at Greenside. It is always such a lovely family, and it makes you see a wide variety of shows that you nay not have thought about seeing before arriving.
Have you done the fringe before? What are the key pieces of advice you have been given or would give to new groups or people performing at the fringe.
This will be our 5th year of bringing 2 contrasting shows to EdFringe. My advice? Live it. Live every available moment. It’s only once a year and you’ve worked your ass off to be there. Make every second count – you can sleep when you’re dead.
Talk us through your daily routine for a day at the Fringe
Watch some shows, perform a show, watch more shows, sleep, repeat!
Ok, where is your favourite place to eat at the Fringe?
We do love grabbing a coffee at any of the independent coffees shops in town. The service everywhere is always so welcoming, and a coffee or 10 will always get you through the day. Copper Still, The City Cafe…all good.
Best thing about performing at the fringe?
The non-stop buzz. Morning, noon and night there is always something going on and the atmosphere is electric.
Do you bring anything special from home to make it feel more special whilst you are away?
My favourite pillow – so whatever sleep I DO manage to get, it’s worth it.
What are your best hacks to save money whilst at the Fringe?
Accommodation with a kitchen is always a real touch as a loaf of bread, peanut butter and some fruit will always get you through the day. There ain’t no better energy booster like a peanut butter sandwich! A flask for your own tea and coffee is good too. Catch the free Fringe or the pay what you can shows, and always look out for the 2 for 1s. Becoming a Fringe Friend can really save the pennies.
If people want to find out more about you where can they follow you on social media?
Facebook, Instagram, X and our website www.earlydoors.org.uk.
And Finally in three words – Why should people come and see the show?
Bat-s*** funny crazy!
(Hyphenated words are one, right..?!)
