Tell Us about:
Your latest single you have released, ‘Work Not Heart’:
It’s about somebody who does well at work but cannot achieve love from another person. Work is not able to fill those basic needs so it’s about somebody who is busy but ultimately has a void inside.
Your favourite lyric in this song:
I can hum in a minor key, I can chant monotony. Do what I’m asked but you only want a part of me.
Your favourite song that you have created that is an album track:
Love Thy Enemy
Your favourite song to play live:
I vote we would only try I Hate Me Too live. We could probably do that better live than what was recorded.
The song that was the longest to write and why?
Equal Wrongs as it has so many parts despite being under 3 minutes.
Your most emotional track:
I Hate Me Too. Only few know where all that came from.
Dream collaboration:
I want Weird Al just to tell me he likes one of our songs.
Describe the feeling you get when you start to do a live stream/performance:
Oh the thrill is gone for both those. I rather figure out my life and future projects.
The hardest track to play to a live feed:
It Was Great Now It’s Good. It’s seven minutes long, it’s experimental.
Describe your fans in three words:
Great mindful
A song by another artist or band you wish you had written:
I can’t get next to you by The Temptations. It hits all the marks I would want to.
What else we can look forward to from Oreaganomics this year:
Maybe some collabs. I was hoping to move up from the middle card but, alas, I am ok having friends in low places.
