With the help of Jim Sykes and Mrs Sugden, Kate sets about investigating the deaths – and whether there is a murderer in the company.

Positive Points

This is one of my favourite books so far in the Kate Shackleton series as it is really fun page turner as it is enjoyable and a really good story. It is a very different narrative to the other books which is enjoyable.

Negative Points

You may feel that you missed a few key narrative points without reading the other books.

Overall Review

I started the Kate Shackleton series with this book not realising it was part of a series and I really enjoyed it and this is the book that persuaded me to read the rest.
