The Travel Book – Collinsons, Broughty Ferry, Scotland

I love writing this article because it means that I can welcome you to places that you may not even realise existed as it is hidden away. Today we are looking at a restaurant that I urge you to visit if you get a chance.

Collinsons restaurant is located in the centre of Broughty Ferry on Brown Street. Broughty Ferry can be reached by a train or a bus from Dundee. It takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic or the time that you go.

The restaurant has made the Michelin list many times and from trying the food it is not hard to see why. It is open most days for lunch and dinner reservations. If you plan to go on a Saturday make sure you book well in advance as it get fully booked very quickly.

Collinson’s prides itself in quality dining using fresh and seasonal produce from the local area. The restaurant has a set menu for lunch and for dinner. The provide a variety of options and change it with the seasons.

The food is delicious, the restaurant is warm and the staff are incredibly friendly, highly reccomend.
