Forgotten Pop! This Week – Lolly

This week we look at a solo pop star that was around in 1999 and 2000 and had some success with her cheesy songs and catchy beats, her real name is Anna Kumble and she was a TV presenter and actress when her music career stopped – this week we are talking about Lolly.

Before becoming a pop star Anna was a model and dived into the music industry with the single Viva La Radio. In her two year career he released five singles such as Mickey, Big Boys Don’t Cry and Girls Just Want to Have Fun and two albums called My First Album and Pick ‘n’ Mix.

Lolly quit the music industry and went back to her real name and started to present shows such as XChange on CBBC. In 2003 she provided back up vocals for The Fast Food Rockers album It’s Never Easy Being Cheesy.
