Welcome To Taste of States a place where we celebrate the weird and wonderful food of the United States of America. This can be everything from the snacks that are available for a limited time to the foods that are classic traditions at events such as Christmas and Thanksgiving! Each week we will explore the facts and the history surrounding a different food.
MINI CORN DOGS HONEY CRUNCHY
If there is one thing that is incredibly popular in America then it is the corn dog. Today we are going to look at a version that can be cooked and prepared at home.
Foster Farms is a company that is located on the West Coast of America. They make a variety of products including Boneless Wyngz, Chicken Fillets and Chicken Franks to name a few. Today we are looking at one of their Corn dog variations.
Mini Corm Dogs Honey Crunchy are a gluten free snack that you can even put it in your air fryer. The centre is chicken frankfurter that are then covered in a batter that is flavoured with honey.
They can be cooked in the air fryer and take ten minutes thawed or eighteen minutes from frozen. Four Mini Corn Dogs equals 13 grams of fat.
This year their products have been in the news because they have had a recall on them. Apparently a certain batch has weird colour and taste.
In regards to the non-recall product they have had positive reviews.
