Welcome to the feature where we talk to musicians about some of their favourite things about the industry. Today we speak to the Australian pop band Germein, which is formed of three sisters. This weekend, they are performing at the Isle of Wight Festival and throughout the rest of the month they are performing at Lytham Festival and The Lemon Tree. In October and November, they are supporting The Corrs on their tour around New Zealand and Australia. The band have recently released the track Suitcase as well. Georgia: Opening for Little Mix’s Stadium Tour – one of the shows was on my birthday and Ella did my makeup and put bright red lipstick on me, and for the entire set I had lipstick smothered all over my face unknowingly – so I looked like a clown Also Ella announced that everyone should sing happy birthday to me on stage, but as the lead singer I normally lead it and play guitar – so I ended up having to sing happy birthday to myself infront of 30,000 people
Clara: Opening for Phil Collins in New Zealand
Ella: Performing on the Little Mix Summer Hits tour, particularly the Falkirk show – so much fun and life long friends
