Welcome To Taste of States a place where we celebrate the weird and wonderful food of the United States of America. Each week we will explore the facts and the history surrounding a different food.

BREAKFAST GARBAGE BREAD
I can’t remember how I came across this food but from looking online, I can find recipes for it so I will explain what it is through these descriptions but considering all the websites are American, I think it is safe to sat its an American recipe.
Garbage Bread by the looks of it is everything stuffed inside a bread which according to the Food Network that is made out of store bought pizza dough. Once this recipe is made it looks like a log.
The version on Food Network has these items as part of the filling – frozen potato tots, 12 ounce package pork breakfast sausage, 10 strips of bacon, 5 large eggs, 6 ounces of grated American cheese, 6 ounces white cheddar and ketchup for serving.
I couldn’t really find any reviews for the Garbage Bread so I can’t really explain what people think of it. However you can watch the Food Network video below as to how it is made.
