Forgotten Songs!

Forgotten Songs! – This Week – No Sleep Tonight

There are so many songs that are out there everywhere then all of a sudden they disappear and you only hear from them on cheesy countdowns run by music channels over Christmas if you are lucky.

So roll up and welcome to Forgotten Songs where we celebrate these forgotten wonders.

No Sleep Tonight – The Faders

If you recognise this song the it could be because it has been on the soundtrack for many different television and film shows including Veronica Mars, She’s The Man, My Super Ex-Girlfriend, Bratz The Movie and The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants just to name a few.

No Sleep Tonight by the girl band The Faders was released the 21st March 2005 under the record label of Polydor Records. The song did well in the music charts and went to number 13 in the UK. The song was a mix of pop and rock which was popular in the mid noughties. The lead singer had bright red hair and they had a sense of rebellion to them as a group.

Listening to the song now, it still has a real addictive melody to it. This track is really hard not to sing along to as well. It is one of those songs that when you listen to it you are constantly trying to pinpoint where you have heard it before
