Off The Record – ALBUM FOCUS – FIVE, White Lies

Have you ever wanted To listen to a new band or musician and not sure where to start? Well, instead of listening to their commercial music, why not start with something off the album first!  Today we look at an album from a band that released a new album the other week – FIVE, White Lies

Never Alone

If you are a fan of white lies you will like this song as it is very much their sound. If you are new to the band then this is a very good song to get a taste as to what white lies are about. It’s a mix of rock style music with synth. Give it a try.

Kick Me

This song has a sad melody to it however the lyrics intertwine it into a song that is really interesting to listen to. It has a sense of nineties nostalgia to it.

Jo?

This album really is a melody of decades as this one has a sense of eighties to it. It has a drum. Beat and a melody that intertwine with each other to create an interesting song. The lyrics are very fun to listen to and the guitar riff drop into the chorus is very heavy and a pleasure for the ears. Feels like a good song doe driving to.

Fire and wings

This is the last song on the album so it is a lot Slower then the rest of the track. The guitar riff of chords that opens this song up is a very positive start and then the song starts to go into a melody of flats and makes it a unusual sound for the ears. I am not sure if I am a fan but give it a go it may be something you really enjoy.
