Today we look at a game that was developed by a Norwegian company called Funcom and was one of the last games to be released by Sunsofts U.S Division – Today we look at the Sega Mega Drive Christmas Game – Daze Before Christmas. It is also according to records the only Sega Mega Drive game to be released exclusively in Australia.

The game was released in 1994 and was based around Santa trying to save Christmas by defeating an evil snowman who has captured all of his elves. The game is a side scrolling platform game and the aim is to reach the end of the levels by defeating the enemies such as rats, other snowmen and evil toys.

Santa has the ability to use his magical powers to turn his enemies into Christmas Presents and when this happens they become harmless. Santa has a magical power as well if he drinks coffee, he turns into Anti-Claus and this makes him invincible for a short amount of time.
