The Games That Time Forgot – Phineas and Ferb, Nintendo DS

Today we look at a Nintendo DS game that was produced by Disney Interactive Studios that was about a animated television series that was doing really well at the time, Today we look at Phineas and Ferb the video game.

The game was released on the DS in 2009 and was an action platform video game that was developed by Altron and was the first ever game to start the duo. The game saw the duo take on a variety of challenges which were part of schemes and adventures in their summer holiday. As well as doing a variety of mini games, you also have to avoid the sister, Candace.

The game is made up of seven different levels which are based on episodes of the television show. The aim is to win these levels whilst having fun along the way, the game controls are pretty simple and easy to use. There are also a number of mini games starring Perry the Platypus fighting the evil plans of Dr. Heinz Doofenshmitz.

The game received mainly positive reviews from critics, as it was mainly aimed at children who were fans of the cartoon. The game was so popular that in 2010 a sequel was released called Phineas and Ferb: Ride Again which was based on the television movie.

  1. I would love to hear your thoughts on The Nintendo DS game Drawn To Life. It was an early favourite here for a week or so, until the fun stopped with an announcement, “He died!”
    We were talking about it yesterday and how it had actually led to several days of REAL TEARS! I think certain games should come with the warning!!
    “Beware really sad ending, have a box of tissues handy.”
