For anyone wanting to get into film production what advice would you give them?

Haha! In the form of an equation…

Hard Work + Talent + A bit of Luck = Success!

I think it’s important to do as much as you can!

Help out on sets!

Meet new people!Learn off other people!Respect the creativity of others! Watch as much stuff as you can! Make your own stuff too! Form your own opinions and styles!

Don’t be afraid of making mistakes or worried about things going wrong! That’s how we learn and hone our skills! It’s fun! Trial and error!

Never give up! EVER!

If you could work with anyone living or dead who would it be and why?

So many people to choose from! I’ve already been very lucky to work with some really talented individuals!

Well, I have a lot of idols I’d love to work with… Sean Bean, Stephen Graham, Sir Ian Mckellen, Mads Mikkelsen, Steven Berkoff, Emmanuel Lubezki, Stan Lee, Martin Scorsese!

Any of the above would be awesome! I’m sure I could think of more! If I had to pick one… I’d go with Sean Bean! He’s a Northern English Actor like me and I tend to play similar roles to him. He has inspired me so much in my journey to becoming an Actor! I think he’s a genius and I’d love to act alongside him one day!

With new technology such as virtual reality, 360 video and 6D cinemas challenging the norm for films where do you see the industry going and how do you think they are going to embrace these?

I think the classic methods still have a lot to offer but film is evolving! It’s exciting to experience cinema in new immersive ways!

What is your favourite genre and why?

Another hard question! Haha! I love performing and creating a wide variety of genres!

I would consider myself a versatile performer and that extends into my filmmaking too!I really enjoy performing characters with gritty realism! Method acting that requires me to immerse myself within the role!

I love playing larger than life characters too! Much like my role in Super Grannies as Agent Charlie Fox! I have always enjoyed clowning! Much like Mr. Bean!”

In three words why should people see Super Grannies?

“Super!

Action!

Comedy!”

If people want to find out more where can they find out more information online?

“If you want to help us inspire and make a difference then we would love to hear from you!”
