Trivia

  • The sitcom was revived in 2014. 16 years after the last episode was broadcast.
  • Sharon’s middle name is given as Perpetua. This is the real middle name of Pauline Quirke, who plays Sharon.
  • Linda Robson and Pauline Quirkie, who play Tracey and Sharon, are childhood best friends in real life. Which explains the childhood photos later.
  • The series five episode “A Brush With The Law” features a reference to the British pop duo, Right Said Fred. In the begining of the episode, Tracey is singing the song “Stick It Out” by Right Said Fred. Both Linda Robson and Pauline Quirke appeared in the music video.
  • David Cardy played Chris Theodopolopodus, in 1989, during the first series. He was later replaced by Peter Polycarpou in 1990, from the second series until the sixth, in 1994. However, David Cardy took over the role again in 1997, from the seventh series until the end of the series run.
