The other day I came across my teenage diaries. When I was 12/13 it was around the time Bridget Jones Diary was released and I became addicted to the idea of writing a diary so that’s what I did everyday!

I remember the feeling I had when I had a great day and would come home and write what happened and all the gossip that was happening! At the time it meant a lot to have this all written down and it’s funny, even after all these years I still have the same feelings when I read certain stories and cringe a lot a others as well.

I remember in college my diary caused awkward situations – because I thought it was a great idea to read parts of it to my two best friends at the time and forgot I may of moaned about them both and about how one of them was feeling about the other ….oops! Also I was mentioning one of our good friends at the time who I used to like a longgg time ago and I think it reall caused awardness haha! I suppose that’s what teenage life is isn’t it – an array of embarrassments, well not for everyone, but I feel that my teenage years def reflect to more if the underdogs of the teen films then the popular people. That didn’t bother me though!

I loved school and everything o wrote down still brings back great and even cringeworthy memories!

In this feature I will be writing some of my entries – there will be some I won’t due to embarrassments to me or to others, but there will be a lot that will be written! I mean hey, 5 years of diary entries that’s a lot!!!

All names will be changed and some will be named using a symbol system I made back in the day.. anyway you will get the jist! Let’s start at the beginning and see where we go!

Last day of 2000!

Today is the last day of 2000. This is the time of year people celebrate the beginning of the new year at 12am. It is very cold today the show is still here for the 3rd day running! Today I am going shopping. Happy new year!

Hi! I haven’t wrote for about a year. High school is alright! Photos tomorrow – I am just about to watch Eastenders when Zoe finds out about Kat. I have got 2 rabbits poppy and clover. I fancy a really friendly boy — I sit next to in maths, he is so lovely, same year and age!

Hello! I found out some great news on Thursday the 11th. I am in the school musical of Wizard of Oz. I am one of the ladies of Oz. That is great news since I didn’t get into Oliver In year 7. Halloween is soon and break for half term on 19th which is Friday

Hello! Got two Chrissy pressies today! One from Krissy which was celebrations and one from Sarah and Becky which was dairy milk and smarties! Told someone I fancied — she said I had bad taste!! Huh, I’ll show her! 

I now junp forward to 2002 as the posts in between are either about music or a few random crush posts that are not needed as they don’t make much sense.

Hi! The star signs were right! Today was my lucky day! VERY funny day. Lee doing staying alive dance and Ushers U-Turn. We had to sing a song me, Davina and Lee made up and it made me and Davina crack up! Lee kept poking his head over the portable CD player!

Hi! Thorpe park today. Went on the first 10 loop roller coaster in the WORLD! First upside down rollercoaster for me – heavy! I really enjoyed myself had a great weekend!

Kate asked — out for herself. He said “no” (yes!) I know I shouldn’t be happy but I’ve fancied him for ages. 

12/9/02

Krissy asked me to describe Kate to — today. I said she was tall (she is actually short) and I didn’t look at him. At the moment he won’t go out with her because he doesn’t know her. I haven’t really spoken to him since we have been back at school. I’m avoiding — and too embarrassed to talk to him. I am really good friends with his best friend but never speak to him.
