There is always a story behind a photograph and I thought it would be a fun way to look at the world of travel. So, welcome to the feature that will appear regularly in the travel section.

Berwick on Tweed is one of my favourite places in the UK, there is so much to love about it. I adore that there are so many sections to it, I adore tat there are so many different personalities to the area and you can understand the reason why so many artists come to the area to paint.
Today’s photo was taken the other side of the bridge in Tweedmouth looking back at Berwick. As soon as I saw this broken bridge I loved it and knew that I had to take a photograph of it. I am so glad that I did.
I feel that the bridge brings so much to this photograph. It sort of acts like a barrier and breaks up the depth to give you this really interesting visual effect. It also makes the town at the back and the beach at the front more striking.
I felt it was important to add a lens blur to makes the viewers eye focus on the depth as I felt it was really important part of the photo.
