Welcome to a brand new feature! Every other week we are going to be looking at a different episode of a television show and delve into the world of that show! There is so many great television programmes out there that some of the are forgotten about or they even just get left behind. So let’s celebrate the world of television.

Show: To The Manor Born
Episode: The Summer Hunt Ball
Original Release Date: 1979

It wasn’t until I was an adult that I truly appreciated how good To The Manor Born was – there are so many good episodes. I felt it was only right to speak first about an episode I really enjoyed from the first season then talk about other episodes at a later date.

The first season is more focused on Audrey adapting to life living away from the Manor and trying to get involved with everything that Richard Devere tries to do.

This is a fun episode because Audrey tries to play a game so Richard will beg her to organise a ball and instead he plays her at her own game and asks her friend instead.

It is a really fun episode and hilarious to see them testing each other, finished off with a surrender between the two in a form of a dance to the song Cheek to Cheek.

It is a great episode as you start to see their relationship bloom just a little bit more with some parts you do not expect in a fun episode.
