Hello! Tell us all about your show!

My show starts with discovering I am a turkey baster baby. Cue: identity crisis. Expect gay divorce, coming out as straight, OCD, Jewishness (plus the Europeans who fetishize it), and career heartache. Plus, 13 original songs!

What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?

Baby Wants Candy and tons of stand-up. I’m also excited to see other shows at my venue, Greenside @ George Street!

Have you done the fringe before? What are the key pieces of advice you have been given or would give to new groups or people performing at the fringe.

It is my first time at the Fringe! Best advice I have gotten has been to be adaptable and open – I am excited to receive so much audience feedback and continue to develop my show in real time. AND to pace myself – there is so much excitement, but I also have to remember I have a 50 minute solo musical to perform!

If this is your first time – what are you looking forward to?

The buzzing atmosphere and connecting with other artists – it’s giving summer theatre camp vibes.

Talk us through your daily routine for a day at the Fringe

Double matcha latte and a big breakfast, yoga or a run (staying active keeps my anxiety down), working remotely for my corporate day job, seeing a show or two, vocal warm up, MY SHOW, dinner, and if I still have an ounce of energy, watching some comedy/stand up before bed. I am exhausted just from writing that (also excited).

Best thing about performing at the fringe?

Sharing something I created with new audiences for over 3 weeks.

Do you bring anything special from home to make it feel more special whilst you are away?

I will be bringing my own Matcha (whisk + sifter included) for my morning routine.

What are your best hacks to save money whilst at the Fringe?

Grocery shop instead of eating at restaurants all the time which I know will be very tempting! I spend all my money on food so this will be my greatest challenge…possibly more difficult than performing my show every night – I will keep you posted.

If people want to find out more about you where can they follow you on social media?

@abbygoldfarb on Instagram and @theabbygoldfarb on Tiktok

And Finally in three words – Why should people come and see the show?

Funny. Vulnerable. Musical.
