Every Sunday we are taking a look at the world of books. I read a lot and always want to share my opinions on what I read, so I thought it would be fun to write reviews. Today we are looking at a book that is the first adult book made by the Horrible Histories author.

Positive Points
This is a book that grips you from the start and it makes you want to enter the world of these handful of strangers and how they get tangled up in each others lives. It is a book that has a lot of twists and turns which makes you want to keep reading. It is interesting that the book has the story told by all the characters.
Negative Points
Whilst this book has a lot of positives it also has a few negatives – the second half feels a bit rushed and it’s shame as it deserves a lot more detail.
Overall Review
This is a good first adult book by Terry Deary, it is a great transition and a really interesting read. Apparently there is a second book to be released this year which I was surprised to hear and will be interesting to see where that goes. It is a book that is escapism and entertaining.
