Just Want You To Know – Backstreet Boys

Today we are going to look at a song by one of the world’s biggest boy bands that is probably one of their lesser known singles.

On the 18th July 2005, Backstreet Boys released the single Just Want You To Know. It was the second single from the fifth studio album Never Gone. It was written by Max Martin and Lukasz and produced by Dr Luke and Max Martin. It was released under the record label of Jive.

The music video has the band playing roles of a fictional heavy metal band Sphynkter in an eighties documentary Heavy Metal Parking Lot.

The single did reasonably well and went into the top 20 in many countries including Belgium (3) Germany (20) Italy (18) Spain (7) and Ireland (15) to name a few. In the UK it went into the charts at number 8.

As a Backstreet Boys fan, I would say this song is much more mellow then other singles but it has a really catchy chorus.
