Welcome to a brand new feature! Every other week we are going to be looking at a different episode of a television show and delve into the world of that show! There is so many great television programmes out there that some of the are forgotten about or they even just get left behind. So let’s celebrate the world of television.

Show: Nobody Wants This
Episode: When Noah Met Joanne
Original Release Date: 2025

I was a big fa of Adam Brody back as a teenager as Seth Cohen was such a great character and what you expected teen guys to live up to – which they didn’t. Since then, I have seen him in small parts in the odd thing but then he sort of disappeared from the limelight then ‘Hot Rabbi’ happened in Nobody Wants This.

I didn’t fancy it – I didn’t know anything about it, I just had gone past the whole Adam Brody phase – since I had experienced all of that with the Seth Cohen era and just wasn’t interested.

Then after season two arrived, I was working a long shift and needed some background entertainment so put it on to watch. I wasn’t sure about it and have to be honest still not sure if I like it or not.

I felt it was right to talk about season 2, episode 10 – still not sure if I like the show but I watched all that was available. A controversial opinion maybe but it feels like it goes around in circles a bit and I know there is a season three coming so it will be interesting to see where it goes.

This episode sort of concludes one section of the narrative leading to another so I like that this is the finale just to set up something new and interesting. It is an interesting episode and don’t want to spoil it but it does a lot of things – repeats themes from the show to connote change (such as Sacha’s dance), create a whole narrative change and build on relationships.

It is interesting show and helps create something different to other shows.
