Hello! Tell us all about your show!

‘White Lies’ is based on one day in my life. Avoiding my pet hate of social gatherings, I set about finding the perfect lie to get out of it! Running out of time and patience, I encounter every obstacle a day can throw at me. It all threatens to derail my quest to find the perfect lie. The social gathering, my neighbours party, to me is a fate worse than death, and the clock is ticking.

What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?

I’ll probably see all my mates’ shows because they are the ones who make me laugh the most! I just want to have fun whilst I’m there so that’s what I do.

Have you done the fringe before? What are the key pieces of advice you have been given or would give to new groups or people performing at the fringe.

I performed at the Fringe last year with my Smack The Pony Pals and then my own debut show 3 years ago. I think go with an open mind and a key thing is to just enjoy it. Oh and bring a rain mac. And if you are flying in make sure you put your important stuff in a bag you can take on the flight as my suitcase didn’t go to Edinburgh with me. Somehow it went to Los Angeles. I turned up with the clothes I was standing in and nothing else! So put a couple of days’ worth of clothes in a bag you can keep with you.

Talk us through your daily routine for a day at the Fringe

I personally don’t plan anything. I wake up and decide. Might go for a walk, relax, make calls, then have lunch (I’m a foodie so my day revolves around food). Then I decide if I’m going to see a show. Then do my own show and then probably catch up with mates and be silly till bedtime.

Ok, where is your favourite place to eat at the Fringe?

Thailander. I LOVE their food.

Best thing about performing at the fringe?

Having fun and being silly with mates whilst performing shows.

Do you bring anything special from home to make it feel more special whilst you are away?

I don’t bring anything special from home and I travel light. To be honest my special things from home are my family and my dog and they can come and visit me.

What are your best hacks to save money whilst at the Fringe?

I have no hacks. The Fringe is expensive for everyone to perform. I wish I had a few!

And Finally in three words – Why should people come and see the show?
