BIG TEXAS BAKED POTATO

Today we are heading to the Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo to take a look at a dish that has been created by Harlons BBQ and Concessions that is one huge meal.

The Big Texas Baked Potato starts with a 40 pound Idaho potato that is baked and then opened and filled with sour cream, drizzle of butter and American cheddar and chives. It is then topped with four types of meats.

The ribs and the brisket have similar seasonings of salt, garlic, kale seasoning. They are then both put in the smoker for three hours. The rib and brisket top the potato and then is joined with turkey and sausage made of beef and pork. It is then topped of with gravy.

It haa a lot of positive reviews with people complimenting that the turkey brings the freshness together and that the potato is the star of the dish. The meat is really tasty and makes it addictive. It is very big though which means it is hard to finish.
