Ones To Watch 2026 – INTERVIEW – Night’s Edge

All this month we are celebrating acts that you need to look out for in 2026. Today we speak to band Night’s Edge about a busy 2025 and what they have in store for the new year.

Hello tell us all about yourself?

Night’s Edge is an alternative / metal band out of Baltimore MD, USA. We just released our newest album “The World That Never Was” on August 21st, 2025 and are hard at work pushing our new songs.  We specialize in creating music that spans all across the spectrum of rock and metal to sew together an eclectic yet familiar sound that is anthemic, dark, and alternatingly heavy and beautiful.

How was 2025 for you?

2025 was full of fantastic moments for us, most of which centered around the release of our new album and the videos/singles that we released with it.

What was the top 3 highlights for you?

1) The release of our new album “The World That Never Was”

2) Opening for Visions of Atlantis at the Ottobar in Baltimore MD

3) Travelling to new states and cities to bring our music to new ears.

What was the key lesson you learnt from last year?

To say yes to as many things as we can – play every show, make every song/video/piece of content, do every interview. Any opportunity – say yes.

What are your plans for 2026?

We would like to get one more video done for our album, and we also are planning a short tour in the springtime, which will be the first time that we have done anything that you could call a “tour”. We will do additional shows beyond that tour, and will have album #5 written and should start recording it by the end of 2026.

What other shows are you looking forward to watching this year?

I’m seeing GWAR for my first time later this year, so that will be fun.

What styles do you hope to see more of in music this year?

I don’t want to see more or less of any specific style, I want to hear music that is different and stands out.  There is too much focus on subgenre and micro-subgenre music and it is hurting originality.

Who is your band / musician that is your ones to watch in 2026 and why?

I’m a pretty big fan of Seven Spires and really liked their last album, so I’m interested to see what they do next.  Same with Blood Incantation.

Do you have any New Year’s resolutions? If s,o what are they?

Not specifically resolutions, but goals for next year are to get the next album written and recorded while continuing to push our most recent album. I feel like I have a tendency to immediately jump into a new batch of music right after the current batch is put out, and I want to balance out that urge to move forward by allowing the current material to have some time to breathe.

Are you on social media? If so, how can people find out more about you?

Yes, we are on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Bandcamp, etc, etc.  We’re pretty easy to find, just search “Night’s Edge band” in any of those, and we will come up.

Three words why people should come and see you this year?

Unique

Cinematic

Emotional
