30 Best Songs of 2025 – pt 2

It has come to the point of the year when we celebrate all things music and take a look back on the year and what songs that it has provided us with. Today we have a look at the next ten of some of the best songs released this year.

11) Ordinary – Alex Warren

In February, American singer songwriter Alex Warren released the single Ordinary. It was the lead single from his debut album called You’ll Be Alright, Kid. It was incredibly popular and went to number 1 in well over 20 countries including the US and UK.


12) End Of The World – Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus returned this year with a brand new track in April that was the lead single from her ninth studio album called Something Beautiful. It is a song that is catchy and did really well in the charts worldwide. It has had 35 million views on YouTube as well.


13) Anxiety -Doechii 

The one thing that social media is good for nowadays is making something a hit years later then when it was originally created. However in March of 2025 it was re-recorded and became popular through apps such as Tik Tok and then it became a global hit that went into the top of the charts in many different countries. It samples Goyte’s 2011 hit Somebody That I used To Know.


14) Undressed – Sombr

If there is one song that has been incredibly popular on the indie scene and it is not hard to see why. It is a song that is really catchy and once you listen to it, the chorus will get stuck in your head. It was released in mid March through Warner Records and reached the top ten in many countries.


15) Rejects – Good Charlotte

This really was the year of acts returning to the scene of the music world because another act that make their comeback was none other then Good Charlotte. Rejects was released on the 25th June and it was followed up by the album Motel Du Cap. It was their first album release in seven years so it was a big deal for fans.


16) Manchild – Sabrina Carpenter

This year has been a Sabrina Carpenter world and we have all been living in it. She has had a sold out tour that was extended due to it’s success. Parts of the show even went viral due to her costume reveals and Juno ‘positions’. One of the songs that she released this year was Manchild – she even did a clean version with Dolly Parton as well.


17) Sorry I’m Here For Someone Else – Benson Boone

In February we were welcomed to this really catchy track by American musician Benson Boone. It was the lead single from his second studio album called American Heart. It did really well in the charts and became certified Gold in New Zealand, Portugal and the United Kingdom and certified Platinum in Australia.


18) What Was That – Lorde

In April of this year, Lorde returned with the single What Was That, the lead single from her fourth Studio album Virgin. The lyrics delve into the topic of looking back at a previous relationship and the aftermath it brings. It received a lot of positive reviews about it from critics.


19) One Thing – Lola Young

In May of this year, musician Lola Young released this single – it is a song all about passion and intimacy and if you take a minute to listen to the lyrics you will notice just how in depth it goes. It is a song that did relatively well in the charts and also became certified Gold.


20) Oblivion – Alkaline Trio

In July, Alkaline Trio returned with the song Oblivion – a track that was produced by none other then Matt Skiba’s ex-band member from Blink-182 Travis Barker. They also went on tour with the band as well and were able to do some cross over songs from his time in the band as well.
