Today’s Featured Artist – INTERVIEW – Lowkner

Tell us about:

Your latest single you have released:

My new single “Boy to Man” is a very personal track that captures my transition from struggle into maturity—from being a boy who faced hardship to becoming a man who stands tall.

Your favourite lyric in this song:

“Indeed I’ll grow from a boy to man / You’ll love me then, this is not the end.”

Your favourite song that is an album track:

“Forever,” which is coming later this year. It’s one of those songs that feels bigger than me, very spiritual and timeless.

Your favourite song to play live:

“Amazing.” The energy when the crowd sings back the hook is always something special.

The song that was the longest to write and why?

“Boy to Man.” The words didn’t come all at once. It felt like a conversation with myself, and I wanted every line to be real.

Your most emotional track:

Definitely “Boy to Man.” It’s raw, it’s honest, it’s my truth.

Dream collaboration:

Burna Boy. He represents African pride while breaking barriers worldwide.

Describe the feeling you get when you walk on stage to do a show:

It feels like freedom. Whatever nerves I have before vanish once I step out there. It’s just me, my music, and the people in front of me.

The hardest track to play live:

“Amazing,” sometimes, because of the vocal range, but the crowd’s energy always lifts me.

Essential items you always take on tour with you?

Headphones, a journal, running shoes, water, and my chain that carries personal meaning.

Describe your fans in three words:

Loyal, passionate, inspiring.

A song by another artist or band you wish you had written:

“Stronger” by Kanye West. It’s motivational, powerful, and timeless. The message of resilience connects with me deeply.

What we can look forward to from your band this year:

“Forever” is released in November, more shows, and a lot of new visuals that bring my story to life.
