If there is one thing that I really enjoy then it is looking at unique creations that come out of State Fairs. Today we are heading to Wisconsin State Fair that happened this year to look at one of these products.

The item we are looking at today relates to the cream puff. If you are from the United Kingdom they are similar to the base of a profiteroles – Choux pastry filled with cream or custard.

At this years State Fair, to celebrate 100 years an the tradition of the original cream puff, the stall called Sodalish (specialising in gourmet soda and slushy) created the idea of a Cream Puff Soda.

The drink combines vanilla syrup and cream together and is then topped with whipped cream and sprinkles.

The cream puff has been a staple at the State Fair since 1924 so some were excited to see this new addition.

n July of this year, it was announced that the company Nissin Food USA was releasing a brand new limited edition of cup noodles – Campfire S’mores.

It is a really bizarre combination – ramen noodles covered in a sauce flavoured to taste like chocolate, marshmallow and graham crackers. It also comes with mini marshmallows which you sprinkle on top.

The noodles are microwavable and take around five minutes and creates a sweet, gooey dessert. The product could be purchased for $1.18 at Walmart stores or online.

There are mixed reviews online for this product – some praise the chocolate sauce whilst others state it is not very s’more like enough.
