Taste Of States – This Week – Lays Honey Butter

Welcome To Taste of States a place where we celebrate the weird and wonderful food of the United States of America. This can be everything from the snacks that are available for a limited time to the foods that are classic traditions at events such as Christmas and Thanksgiving! Each week we will explore the facts and the history surrounding a different food.

LAYS HONEY BUTTER

Today we are heading down the snack aisle of America to take a look at a flavour of crisp that was around for a limited time. It seemed like such a unique flavour I felt that we had to take a more in depth look at it today.

In August of this year, it was announced that the crisp company Lays was releasing a number of new flavours to celebrate versions that were available around the world. One of the versions they decided to release was Honey Butter, a celebration of the popular South Korean snack.

Lays Honey Butter combined the flavours of buttermilk honey and butter together to create something different and unique.

The limited time snack also had a competition that ran that allowed members of the public the opportunity to win a trip to the country of that particular flavour.

It is hard to find information about these crisp online but what I can gather is that they have a taste of buttermilk to them more then butter.
