There is always a story behind a photograph and I thought it would be a fun way to look at the world of travel. So, welcome to the feature that will appear regularly in the travel section.

If there is one thing that I loved about the Caribbean is that it looks like you actually imagined. When I got my photos back from this trip and looked at them on a large computer screen, it was amazing to see the colours that are created.

This photograph was taken from a small island called Great Bird Island and the thing I love about it is the bright colours of the sea and the sand – it is so vibrant and really shouts exotic.

It may not be clear where it is as it is a pretty generic shot but it makes me happy whenever I look at this.
