Today we are going to focus on a tiny village in Scotland that I had the chance to visit for a few hours just by chance. It was really quaint so thought would be good to talk about today.
Lower Largo is a village that is located in the area of Fife. It has a population of just over 2,000 residents and can be reached by either car or by bus.
It is a popular place to visit because it is the birthplace of Alexander Selkirk who was the inspiration for the book Robinson Crusoe.
The area is an ancient fishing village and has a history that dates back to as early as the 5th Century.
Apart from the statue, the main attraction to the area is the beach and it is a really great way to spend a few hours watching the day go by.
I enjoyed the time I spent in Lower Largo, it was quaint, pretty and around each turn there was something interesting to see.
