Hello! Tell us about yourself?

Alright how’s it going. I have long hair, green eyes and a great big bottom

Tell us all about your show!

It’s a show about a little boy living in Spain, he can’t talk, he can’t sing, he can’t see. That boy was me.

How did you come up with the name of your show that your taking to the fringe?

I think it reflects enjoying things that aren’t perfect. Feel like the biggest laughs we have are when we’re complaining with friends about stuff. Think if I was buried alive I’d find the funny side.

What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?

Television 1, it’s a sketch show by Rory Cargill, 100 years of television in one hour. Freya Mallard: The Bounce Back, saw a preview of it and I was blown away! Rachel Fairburn: Side Eye, gonna be dead good.

Have you done the fringe before? What are the key pieces of advice you have been given or would give to new groups or people performing at the fringe.

See a load of stuff. Good and bad.

Talk us through your daily routine for a day at the Fringe

Always find myself just wandering about, like a lost soul. Otherwise Thai-Chi and a movie

What is the best way to enjoy yourself at the fringe?

Get p****** and talk through peoples shows, people seem to love that.

I say see a variety of stuff, see a sketch show, see a stand up, see a circus, see me after class!

Ok, where is your favourite place to eat at the Fringe?

Picnics takeaway on Newington road. Cheapest bacon roll I’ve ever seen and here’s the kicker (it’s good). How’s the cup of tea? (It’s weak!)

Best thing about performing at the fringe?

The step count.

Top tips for travelling around the Fringe and getting to shows on time?

Get your bearings and arrive 10 mins early.

What would be your top three items every performer must take to the fringe?

Good attitude. Funny jokes. Big  friendly smile.

What’s the secret to successful flyering?

Pay a charistmastic person to do it for you.

If people want to find out more about you where can they follow you on social media?

@tomlawrinson on everything.

And finally in three words – Why should people come and see the show?

Great big bottom
