Hello! Tell us about yourself?

My name is Milo Edwards, I’m a stand-up comedian and podcaster from Essex – I’m also an orphan but I’m quite funny about it.

Tell us all about your show!

How Revolting! Sorry to Offend is a show about the most revolting subject of all in Britain: Class. I’m trying to explore my place within the British class system and what it means to be an over-educated man from a family of geezers, via some analysis of contemporary politics, arse tattoos and cum.

How did you come up with the name of your show that you’re taking to the fringe?

The show title is a quote from an anecdote in the show.

What other acts are you looking forward to seeing at the fringe?

Pierre Novellie, Olga Koch, Luka Muller, Aidan Jones, Chris MacArthur Boyd, Alexandra Haddow, Ed Night, Sara Barron and so many others

Have you done the fringe before? What are the key pieces of advice you have been given or would give to new groups or people performing at the fringe.

Too many times – my advice would be don’t take it too seriously, unless you’re not taking it seriously at all, in which case maybe you should take it a bit more seriously, depending on your goals. But above all stay hydrated and take up smoking.

Talk us through your daily routine for a day at the Fringe

Last year my show was at noon so I was getting up uncharacteristically early but normal service has resumed this year and I shall be out till 4, sleeping in until lunch, doing a bit of admin in the afternoon and then doing my show. Maybe see something after that, and probably record some podcasts.

What is the best way to enjoy yourself at the fringe?

Befriend as many Australian comedians as possible and get a hog roast from that oink place.

Ok, where is your favourite place to eat at the Fringe?

There are so many places with actually good food in Edinburgh but where do I actually end up eating? Palmyra kebab shop at 3am.

Best thing about performing at the fringe?

It’s for comedians and comedy fans – don’t let theatre people or industry people tell you otherwise. Bully them, ping their lanyards, yell over them when they try to sing show tunes.

Top tips for travelling around the Fringe and getting to shows on time?

Embrace failure.

what’s the secret to successful flyering?

Hire someone enthusiastic to do it.

If people want to find out more about you where can they follow you on social media?

Twitter, Instagram and TikTok, if you’re hard enough.

And Finally in three words – Why should people come and see the show?

Jokes. Ideas. Seats.
