Each week we will explore the facts and the history surrounding a different food.

WILD CHERRY M&Ms
Today we are going to look at another limited edition flavour of M&M. This flavour I have actually tried when I went to America years ago when they were around and I remember enjoying them – even though I am not a fan of American chocolate. Today we are going to look at the world of Wild Cherry M&Ms.
Wild Cherry flavour were first introduced in 2008. The candy combines the cherry flavour with milk chocolate. It is then covered in different shades of red candy shells.
There are numerous reviews for this product online – with some commenting that the cherry flavour makes the milk chocolate taste like dark chocolate so it can come across as bitter.
Others state that they have a cherry soda sort of taste to them and some disagree and say that they taste of Black Forest Gateau.
From my very vague memory of them I remember that they tasted unique and had a cherry flavour.
