Breeze On By – Donny Osmond
Today we are going to look at a song by a well known musician that I didn’t even know existed until I saw it on an Instagram page highlighting tracks from the early noughties and I thought it would be fun to discuss.
Breeze On By was a single that was released by Donny Osmond in December 2004. It was written by Donny Osmond, Eliot Kennedy, Gary Barlow and Bobby Wornack. The song was also released on the record label Universal and was from the album What I Meant To Say.
The single might sound vaguely familiar because it was influenced by George Benson’s song ‘Breezin’ which was originally released in the seventies.
The song did relatively well in the United Kingdom charts and went in at position number 8. It was also the first British top ten for the musician in thirty years.
