Blink – Rosie Ribbons

Today we are heading down memory lane to have a look at a single that was released by a Pop Idol finalist Rosie Ribbons. The musician was on the first season of the UK version of the show and today we take a look at one of her singles.

Blink was released by Rosie Ribbons on the 21st October 2002. The single was produced by Mark Lister and released under the record label T2. The genre of the song can be defined as a mix of pop and hip hop. The B-Side to the single was a track called Colours.

The single did reasonably well in the United Kingdom charts and went into the top 20 at the position number 12.

It is quite a catchy track and reminds me very much of the style of pop music that was around at this time – sort of like a Britney Spears and NSync style.
