We Be Burnin’- Sean Paul
Today we are going to look at a song that was released by Sean Paul in the mid noughties that was catchy and also it is the biggest solo track he has had in the United Kingdom! It is a song that you may of forgotten, well never fear we are going to take a look at it today!
On the 22nd August 2005, Sean Paul released the single We Be Burnin’ the song was produced by Renaissance Crew Productions and released under the record labels of Atlantic and VP. It was the first song to be released off of his third album that was called The Trinity and was also released in the same year.
The song did incredibly well internationally and went into the top 10 in many countries including Belgium (7), Finland (8), Germany (5), Switzerland (6), US Billboard Hot 100 (6) and Italy (6) to name a few. In the United Kingdom the song went into the charts at number 2. The track went certified silver in the UK and went certified platinum in the United States.
When I was younger, I was not a fan of Sean Paul’s music however when i got older I started to enjoy his songs a lot more and this was one of his songs I only rediscovered for the first time in years a couple of years ago.
