Each week we will explore the facts and the history surrounding a different food.
KOOL-AID YOGURT
It is a drink that is very famous in America and over the times of writing this article, I have explored the many different ways that it has been used in the US including Koolickles (Pickles in Kool Aid). Well today we are looking at another venture that this product has made and a different way in which it can be consumed.
In August of 2022, it was announced that a new collaboration was set to happen between the brands Yoplait and Kraft Heinz and it was related to the world of Kool Aid. They were going to team up to turn it into a variation of yogurt flavours. A single pot could be purchased for around $0.80 and it could be found in all grocery stores such as Walmart, Dollar General and Stop & Shop to name a few.
The yogurt came in a variety of flavours – Tropical Punch, Blue Raspberry and Cherry which are all incredibly brightly coloured. They were all created with low fat milk and were 150 calories per pot. Each pot apparently contained a good source of Calcium and Vitamins A &D.
There are a lot of mixed reviews online about this product with some commenting on the fact that the flavour is not very strong and can taste unusual at times.
