All year I have decided to keep a diary of tracks that I am enjoying so that maybe you can gain new ideas of tracks to listen to or even try out. So I thought what a great way to end the year and highlight some of the tracks throughout 2023 that I have enjoyed. Here are some of my favourite tracks from July to September.

16/10/23 – Blood Hair and Eyeballs, Alkaline Trio
It is the first song that Alkaline Trio have had in a very long time and it was incredibly exciting to wake up one morning and for there to be a new song to listen to. It was a fantastic treat and it is a track that is typical Alkaline Trio with a punchy chorus, a great set of guitar riffs and a song you just want to listen to over and over again.
21/10/23 – Already Over, Mike Shinoda
I came across this track by accident and I am so happy that I did as it is such a catchy track with a really big chorus and a song that has lyrics you just want to sing along to. Since the passing of Chester Bennington it was always a questions what would happen with the talented musician and he is created some fantastic music. This is a song I highly recommend you listen to.
24/10/23 – Run Run Run, The Libertines
This month saw the return of the indie band The Libertines, they are a band that I was never a fan of but they had a few songs that were particularly catchy that used to stick in my head a lot. This new song is one of those tracks that when you listen to it you will get it stuck in your head and hear yourself humming it.
12/11/23 – I Won’t Run, The Struts
There are some songs that you listen to that make you think that it would be a good one to go driving to and this is definitely one of those songs. It has a nice little chorus that is easy to sing along to and it has a lot of lyrics that are enjoyable and also fun to hear. A good song for anyone.
22/11/23 – Je Suis Fou – Vianney, Kendji Girac, Soprano
If you are looking for a song that combines acoustic guitar into a really lovely pop track then this is the song for you, it is entirely in French but it is really catchy and you will find yourself singing along to it at some point. The beat on it gradually builds and it makes a fantastic song.
26/11/23 – Where We Are, Take That
It wouldn’t be a Take That song if it didn’t have a dramatic introduction and then a really catchy chorus that you want to sing along. The thing I like about this track is the way it delves in and out of flats throughout to create this really interesting song. It is a song that is catchy and any Take That Fan will enjoy.
1/12/23 – One Of These Days, Busted
It was a really nice surprise to be welcomed to a brand new Busted track and it was a really catchy one which makes you want to sing along. It has this really fun intro that is uplifting an joyful and a fun song for the end of the year.
1/12/23 – All Out Of Fight, P!nk
This is a slow song by the pop star and it song that sounds emotional due to the lyrics and the piano that is used throughout. It is a song you should listen to for the vocals of P!nk as they are amazing and it is a very sad song that is brought to life by her voice.
10/12/23 – Dilemma, Green Day
It is always a great day when Green Day release new music and this song is punchy and has so many great guitar riffs that you will instantly enjoy it. It was a nice treat to end the year with a Green Day track and with a lot of promise of things to come in the new year.
