INTERVIEW – A Quick Conversation With: I, Apokalypse

Welcome the feature where we ask musicians or bands five really tough questions about music! Today I speak to the band I, Apokalypse  who are set to release new music in 2024. To find out more about the band you can by clicking here. Today I ask the band some difficult questions.

What is the hardest lyric you have ever had to write and why?

I would say the whole Destroyers of worlds album. I find it hard to keep the theme going all along the album without sounding too cliché. There is so much background in that type of music that at some point it’s hard, practically impossible to be original and bring something new to the table.

What is the weirdest gift or compliment a fan has given you?

A pen.. There was this dude, he was p*** drunk in the afternoon. Give me a pen to sign autographs or to stab someone if needed. Didn’t needed at all that day.

Who is the best band or musician you have had the pleasure to share the stage with?

I have to say Belphegor. We opened for them in our hometown for our first gig ever.

What one of your songs has been the most difficult to rehearse for a live audience?

None in particular. There is nothing on the album that we would have hard time to reproduce live. We had enough time to produce the album, so by the time we were ready to go live, we did master our songs.

Dream Collaboration and why ?

I don’t know. Not much into collab to be honest. I don’t find it to have the type of impact I would like in our music. I would prefer sharing the stage with bigger bands than to collab with them.
