All Over – Lisa Maffia

Today we are going to talk about a song that I completely forgot even existed until it popped up in a playlist the other day. It had a catchy chorus and if you listen to it today we you will get it stuck in your head as well.

Lisa Maffia was an artist that was part of the So Solid Crew that decided to take her music career solo. On the 21st April 2003, Lisa released the single All Over. It was the debut solo song of the musician and came off the album First Lady that was also released in 2003.

The single was written by JD, Lisa Maffia, Swiss and Megaman. The track was released under the record label of Independiente.

The song All Over did really well in the chars and went to number 2 in the UK singles and number 1 in the UK Hip Hop Chart. In the year 2003 it charted at 85 in the UK year end charts.

It was a song that when it was around I was not a fan of it but after all these years, listening to it again was really refreshing.
