Cry- Kym Marsh
She may be an actress that is known for appearing in Waterloo Road revival or being a co-presenter of Morning Live but did you know that Kym Marsh had a solo music career after Hear’Say? Well, today we look at her debut single.
On the 7th April 2003, Kym Marsh released her debut solo song called Cry. The track was written by Espen Lind and Amund Bjorklund, it was produced by Espionage. The song was released under the record label of Universal and Island.
There was mixed reviews towards this single with some praising it for sounding great and there was a few that said it sounded like an updated version of Natalie Imbruglias song Torn. Some people criticised the song because they felt it was slightly predictable.
Saying that, it did incredibly well in the charts and went to number 2 in the United Kingdom.
