WHITE CASTLE MICROWAVABLE CHEESEBURGER
I enjoyed writing about frozen products so much last week. I thought I would keep up with the trend and write about another one this week.
Now lets start with the brand White Castle – if you have not been to America then you may not of heard of this fast food chain before. I only discovered them when I lived in NYC for 3 months as I was near one – I never tried them but the students I was teaching was obsessed with them. They are famous for their sliders and now. thanks to the frozen aisle you can enjoy them at home.
White Castle Microwavable Cheeseburger can be purchased in a box of 16 for $15.06 or a pack of 6 for $5.29 and are available from most supermarkets. According to the packaging the burger is ‘steam-grilled over savoury onions’ and are made of 100% beef. To cook the cheeseburger you place them in the microwave after they have defrosted.
For two sliders, the calories are around 340 and 18g of fat. There are mixed reviews online – some did not like the taste while others really enjoyed.
